Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Ghana's Minister of Education, announced that the new curriculum for Basic and Senior High Schools will include lessons on Growth Mindset to foster transformative thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
Speaking at the UPSA graduation ceremony, Dr. Adutwum emphasized that the curriculum aims to create responsible, creative adults who contribute to the nation's development.
At the event, 906 postgraduate students were awarded degrees, part of UPSA's 16th Congregation, which graduated 5,247 students overall.
UPSA’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abednego Amartey, highlighted significant growth during his tenure, including new facilities and increased student enrollment, as he prepares to step down after eight years.
He urged graduates to maintain professionalism and gratitude toward those who supported their education.
