Health Minister receives family of late Dr. Moses Adibo

The Minister for Health, Mr. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, met with family members of the late Dr. Moses Adibo.

The delegation visited to inform the Minister about Dr. Adibo's passing and funeral plans.

Dr. Moses Adibo was a respected figure in Ghana’s health sector. He died on March 24, 2025, and will be buried in July.

Dr. Adibo served as Deputy Minister for Health under President Jerry John Rawlings. He also held roles as Director of Medical Services and Director of Policy Planning.

Through these positions, he made significant contributions to Ghana’s health system.

Mr. Mintah Akandoh described Dr. Adibo as a "global icon" in health development policies. He expressed sorrow over the loss.

"I heard he was a good man," the Minister said. "I planned to meet him but he left us too soon."

"May his soul rest in peace," he added.
