On Friday, May 9, some Hearts of Oak fans blocked Managing Director Delali Anku-Adiamah from entering his office. They accused him of being 'incompetent' in his role.
The fans claimed that Anku-Adiamah allowed Vincent Odotei-Sowah and Alhaji Akanbi to take over his responsibilities. They believe these two have not delivered the results they expected.
The fans expressed frustration with the managing director's inability to lead the club effectively. They urged him to resign soon.
"Stay out of the club. We are tired of you," said a fan leader. He criticized Anku-Adiamah for failing to manage the team well and for broken promises about sponsorship.
Hearts of Oak fans are unhappy with their current situation. They feel the team is bigger than any individual and want change.
This season has been challenging for Hearts of Oak. They have won only 12 out of 30 games in the Ghana Premier League, with 10 draws and 8 losses.
Currently, they sit sixth on the league table with four games remaining this season.
