High Court to hear contempt case against senior police officers today

The Accra High Court’s Land Division will today, January 13, 2025, hear a contempt application filed by Theophilus Teiko Tagoe and another against three senior Ghana Police Service officials.

The respondents include COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Deputy Inspector General of Police (1st respondent), ASP Malaika Jibril (2nd respondent), and Superintendent Bawa Alhassan of the Akropong Police Service (3rd respondent).

The hearing is set for 9:00 a.m. and involves allegations of contempt of court leveled against the police officials.

The case, brought under the jurisdiction of the Republic, accuses the respondents of alleged contempt of court.
