The Ho Circuit Court has sentenced three men to a total of 125 years in prison with hard labour for their role in a robbery that resulted in the theft of GH₵825,000 in cash and valuables.
The convicted individuals, Nzete Chukunhru Best (28), Mark Billy Agbozo (31), and Ernest Sokpi Amevor (32), were found guilty of violating sections of the Criminal Offences Act.
The robbery occurred on May 29, 2021, at Ayitikope-Akatsi in the Volta Region, where they broke into the home of a lotto agent, stealing GH₵160,000, CFA Francs, and additional funds.
Each offender was sentenced to 25 years per offense, to be served consecutively.
Authorities are still searching for six other suspects involved in the crime.
