Hon Kennedy Osei calls for clarity over mysterious aircraft that landed in Ghana

The controversy over the mysterious aircraft in Ghana continues. The latest call for accountability comes from Kennedy Nyarko Osei. He is the Chairman of Parliament's Roads and Transport Committee.

In a recent post, Osei expressed his concerns. He questioned why Ghanaians are left uninformed about this issue. “Should Ghanaians just accept this without answers?” he asked.

Osei raised several important questions for the Transport Minister. Who were the passengers on the Cavok Air private jet and AirMed flight? What mission brought them to Ghana, and why was it kept secret?

He also inquired about the official flight plan for aircraft N823AM. Were there any suspicious changes made to that plan? If so, what were they?

Osei demanded clarity on technical issues with these aircraft. Were problems so severe that local engineers couldn’t fix them? Why was a private jet needed to bring people or spare parts?

“Was there any declared emergency before this story emerged?” he asked. He wanted to know what spare parts were flown in and if they were properly declared.

Another concern involved customs handling. Were these parts given special clearance at the airport? Why couldn’t some of these parts be sourced locally?

Osei continued with more questions about maintenance procedures. What kind of maintenance was done, and where? Which hangar at Kotoka International Airport hosted this work? Who authorized it, and can maintenance logs support these claims?

Finally, Osei questioned how long the aircraft stayed in Ghana. Did their movements follow standard patterns or seem suspicious?
