The controversy over the mysterious aircraft in Ghana continues. The latest call for accountability comes from Kennedy Nyarko Osei. He is the Chairman of Parliament's Roads and Transport Committee.
In a recent post, Osei raised important questions. He asked why Ghanaians are left in the dark about this issue. “Should Ghanaians just accept this without answers?” he questioned.
Osei wants to know who the passengers were on the Cavok Air jet and AirMed flight. He also wonders what mission brought them to Ghana and why it was kept secret.
He questioned the official flight plan for aircraft N823AM. Were there any suspicious changes made during the flight? If so, what were they?
Osei demanded clarity on several points. Were there technical problems that local engineers couldn't fix? Why was a private jet needed to bring people or spare parts?
“Was there any declared emergency before this story emerged?” he asked.
He also inquired about the spare parts flown in. Were these parts properly declared on the cargo manifest? Was this operation standard procedure, or was something unusual happening?
Another concern involved customs handling. Did these parts receive special clearance at the airport? Why couldn’t some of these parts be sourced locally?
Osei continued with more questions. What kind of maintenance was performed, and where did it happen? Which hangar at Kotoka International Airport hosted this work? Who authorized it, and can maintenance logs support these claims?
Finally, Osei pressed for details on how long the aircraft stayed in Ghana. Did their movements follow standard patterns or raise suspicions?
