Ghana’s horticultural sector can boost economic growth, says Davies Narh Korboe. He is the president of the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE).
Korboe emphasized that horticulture goes beyond growing fruits and vegetables. It can empower rural livelihoods and reduce poverty. He urged for support in infrastructure, innovation, and policy commitment.
He made this appeal in a statement to The Ghanaian Times. This announcement was about the upcoming Ghana Horticulture Expo. The expo is scheduled for June 11 to 13, 2025.
The theme is ‘Innovate, Transform, Sustain: Driving Growth in Ghana’s Horticultural Sector.’ The event will gather local and international stakeholders. They will discuss how innovation and investment can transform the sector into a key driver of national development.
