How much is $800? – Nana Agradaa responds to backlash over dollar gift

Controversial Ghanaian figure Patricia Asiedua, known as Nana Agradaa, has spoken out. She urged supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to stop criticizing Sammy Gyamfi’s recent dollar gift to her. Agradaa called the backlash unfounded and unnecessary.

In a viral video, Agradaa addressed the controversy. She downplayed the significance of the gift, stating it was only $800. “How much is $800? NDC supporters shouldn’t feel aggrieved because of this,” she said.

Agradaa suggested that NDC supporters should view the gift positively. Instead of negativity, they should see it as a divine blessing. She referenced Biblical teachings, saying, “The Bible says you should not covet your neighbour’s blessings.”

She encouraged supporters to pray for similar blessings from Gyamfi. Agradaa believes this mindset shift would promote positivity instead of resentment.

Additionally, she warned against condemning acts of goodwill. “If you condemn the act and someone blesses you, it is a curse,” she cautioned.

Her comments come amid heated reactions from NDC supporters. Some questioned the appropriateness of the dollar gift and its political implications. However, Agradaa remains firm that the gesture is simply a blessing and not a provocation.
