I'm happy with the Mike Oquaye report - Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the 2024 Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He expressed satisfaction with a report from Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye, a former Speaker of Parliament.

On Wednesday, April 23, Dr. Bawumia spoke at the NPP headquarters in Accra. He described the report as “thorough, insightful, and valuable.” He believes it will help the party move forward.

Dr. Bawumia noted that the report's findings align with NPP’s vision and values. He said they would significantly shape the party’s strategy for the December elections. “I am happy with Professor Oquaye's work,” he stated.

Professor Oquaye chaired a committee reviewing the party’s internal structures and electoral performance. He submitted his report to party leadership earlier this week.

Dr. Bawumia assured party members that they would seriously consider the recommendations. “We are not taking this lightly,” he said. They plan to study and implement proposals that strengthen unity and improve performance.
