I’m not interested in running for Flagbearer in 2028 – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is the Running Mate for the NPP in 2024. He has emphasized his commitment to party unity as a top priority.

During an NPP meeting on April 16, he highlighted the need for internal cohesion. He believes this unity is essential for winning the upcoming elections. "My immediate interest now is to get a united party," he stated.

Dr. Prempeh also addressed rumors about his future political plans. Specifically, there was speculation about a presidential bid in 2028. He firmly dismissed these rumors, saying, "No, I am not running in 2028."

His comments aim to dispel distractions and support the NPP's campaign efforts for 2024.
