I can’t keep supporting decisions that will hurt my children’s future – Kwaku Kwarteng

Former Deputy Finance Minister Kwaku Kwarteng has clarified his recent criticisms of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stating that his concerns about economic mismanagement are directed at the broader political landscape, not just the NPP.

Speaking on Joy News' PM Express, Kwarteng emphasized that his worries about the future, particularly for his children, drove him to voice his dissent.

He highlighted the importance of open dialogue and the need for differing opinions to be respected in addressing Ghana's challenges.

Kwarteng likened the nation's economic management to a Ponzi scheme, attributing the current economic issues to decades of poor governance.
