Investigative firm Tiger Eye PI has strongly denied allegations by Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder of the International God's Way Church, claiming that Anas Aremeyaw Anas attempted to recruit him into a lawsuit against politician Kennedy Agyapong.

The claims, made in a viral video circulating on social media, have drawn widespread public attention.

In a statement issued on March 21, Tiger Eye PI described the allegations as "entirely false and, at best, a fabrication."

The organization emphasized that Anas, an experienced lawyer and investigative journalist, is well-versed in legal processes and does not require or seek Obinim's involvement in any litigation.

Furthermore, the statement clarified that Anas has no knowledge of Obinim’s contact details or residential address, making any alleged communication between them impossible.

The firm urged the public to disregard the claims and instead focus on Anas’s ongoing work in promoting transparency and justice.

The statement also expressed gratitude for the continued support from Ghanaians and the international community, especially following Anas’s recent legal victory in the United States.

Earlier this week, the Superior Court of New Jersey awarded Anas $18 million in damages in a defamation lawsuit against former MP Kennedy Agyapong and social media commentator Frederick Asamoah.

The ruling follows a protracted legal battle over alleged defamatory remarks made against Anas during a 2021 social media interview.
