King Promise, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, shared his thoughts on his win during an interview on Daybreak Hitz.

He expressed joy and gratitude for receiving this honor.

"I like this feeling. It’s not just about validation," he said. "It’s about your people recognizing and crowning you. That moment is special."

He added that he would have regretted not pushing further in his career.

When asked what makes him unique, King Promise credited his authenticity.

"What sets me apart is being myself," he explained. "I make music I love without chasing trends."

He emphasized that he doesn’t go to the studio to create hits. Instead, he focuses on making real music.

"I enjoy what I do and am intentional with everything," he said. "There’s a direction to my work that sets me apart."

His dedication and authenticity have clearly paid off with the TGMA Artiste of the Year award.
