Former GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has criticized the NPP for failing to support him during his legal battles following Anas Aremeyaw Anas’s "#Number 12" exposé.
Speaking on Hot FM, Nyantakyi expressed disappointment in the party's lack of assistance, especially when his court case affected his bid for the Ejisu parliamentary primaries.
He revealed that his legal team advised him to distance himself from the party, adding that the prolonged battle has been emotionally and financially draining.
Nyantakyi insists the allegations lack merit, describing his five-year ordeal as unjust.
Although he garnered only 35 votes in the NPP primaries, Nyantakyi remains uncertain about his political future. The ongoing debate about Anas unmasking himself in court proceedings adds to the complexity of his case.
