A leading figure in the Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye, has expressed his unwavering support for President John Dramani Mahama’s government in tackling corruption.
Adorye, speaking after Mahama’s swearing-in, emphasized the need for swift action against former appointees of the previous Akufo-Addo administration, who he claims misappropriated state resources.
Adorye described Mahama as a mature and unifying leader, urging him to hold all corrupt officials accountable, regardless of their status.
He pledged his commitment to assist the new government in identifying and prosecuting those responsible for financial misconduct, stating, “I am prepared to support this agenda. I know some corrupt people, and I will start mentioning their names soon.”
