Outgoing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has pledged his full support for a smooth transition of power to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking at the inauguration of the 2024 National Transition Team on December 11 at Jubilee House, Akufo-Addo emphasized the importance of ensuring the incoming administration is well-prepared. He committed to providing necessary resources and highlighted the duty of collaborative governance in serving the people of Ghana.

President-elect Mahama expressed gratitude for the outgoing administration’s commitment to a peaceful transition, acknowledging ongoing challenges like economic issues and security concerns.

He pledged to work closely with Akufo-Addo’s team to ensure stability and national unity, underscoring the transition’s role in fostering effective governance.
