I’m committed to creating a better life for our people – President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to Ghanaians. He aims to create a better life for them.

Mahama wants to build a legacy of effective governance. He believes future administrations should not undo his achievements. By the end of his four-year term, he hopes to set high standards in government.

He spoke at a meeting with clergy members on May 23. Mahama emphasized that effective leadership can improve the economy. He is dedicated to creating a better life for the people.

In response to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Mahama addressed claims about the cedi's appreciation. Bawumia said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot identify one policy responsible for this change.

Mahama argued that recent cedi gains result from effective leadership, not just one policy. He stated, “It’s not about one policy.”

He reiterated his commitment to sustaining these gains beyond his current term. Mahama wants to ensure that future governments cannot reverse the progress made in restoring confidence in democracy.
