Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, has debunked reports that he has resigned as the National Youth Organizer of the NDC, clarifying that he still holds the position.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Opare Addo emphasized that he remains in office until the party's next congress in 2026, though he does not plan to seek re-election.
His dual role as a government minister and party official has sparked debate over potential conflicts of interest.
While his decision not to contest again hints at a shift in focus, it also paves the way for new leadership within the NDC’s youth front.
