Kennedy Agyapong, a former MP and presidential aspirant, has spoken out. This follows his clash with Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye DC. The incident occurred on April 28, 2025, during the NPP's "Thank You Tour."
Abronye addressed allegations against him at the event. He claimed he was accused of plotting against a presidential candidate. This was linked to his support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP's 2024 candidate.
Abronye questioned those preaching unity in the party. He suggested they had previously caused division within the NPP.
Kennedy Agyapong responded to Abronye’s comments directly. He called Abronye a poor man who speaks without thinking. Agyapong stated that some people act tough but cannot contribute financially.
He emphasized that he does not beg for money and criticized others for their boldness. Agyapong warned that if provoked, there would be consequences.
After a violent incident involving a KNUST student during the tour, Agyapong spoke to the media. He expressed frustration over social media comments about him and chose not to respond.
He noted that his calls for unity seemed contradictory to his actions of confrontation. Agyapong declared that he is still in the race and will campaign when ready.
He urged everyone to prepare for his candidacy and asserted no one can tell him otherwise.
