I never left the NDC – Koku Anyidoho stands his ground

Koku Anyidoho is the Founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute. He has reaffirmed his commitment to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Anyidoho dismissed claims that he left the party.

In a recent interview with Blakk Rasta, he addressed these rumors. He stated, “I never left the NDC, and I have never left the party.”

Anyidoho explained that his suspension was not valid. He claimed it was orchestrated by the then General Secretary without due process.

He said, “How do you pronounce a man guilty without giving him a fair hearing?” He noted that he received no letter or correspondence regarding his suspension.

Despite feeling sidelined, Anyidoho remains loyal to the NDC. He acknowledged having differing opinions but insisted this does not mean he has left. “I have always made my position clear,” he said.

Anyidoho also responded to claims about being at odds with President John Mahama. He stated, “I have never disrespected Mahama.” He believes people fabricate stories for their own agendas.

Regarding reconciliation, Anyidoho is open to dialogue. However, he insists those who suspended him must acknowledge their mistakes first. “If there is any magnanimity, it should come from those who wielded the axe without cause,” he added.
