Dr. Samuel Koranteng Pipim compared his mission to John the Baptist's.
He spoke at the 2025 Public Lecture Series at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
Dr. Pipim sees himself as a forerunner for future African leaders.
“I love my role because I am like John the Baptist,” he said.
The lecture was well-attended and focused on “Empowering Minds, Shaping Futures for 21st Century Education.”
It gathered academics, policymakers, and students to discuss Ghana's educational future.
Dr. Pipim emphasized the importance of mentorship and leadership development.
He believes moral guidance is crucial for today's youth.
“Ghana’s and Africa’s future depend on how we empower today’s youth,” he stated.
He praised UEW for training future teachers.
Dr. Pipim urged stakeholders to support initiatives that develop holistic leaders for the 21st century.
