Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on outgoing government appointees to comply with directives from the Presidency to return state vehicles by January 3, 2025.
This follows a notice from the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, reminding Ministers, Deputies, Regional Ministers, and other officials that government vehicles cannot be acquired for personal use.
Speaking on GHOne TV, Aboagye disclosed that he had already returned the Land Cruiser assigned to him as a Presidential Staff Executive Secretary, questioning why others would delay compliance.
“Why are you driving a government vehicle? If you don’t have money, go and sit somewhere,” Aboagye remarked, urging appointees to respect the rules and purchase personal vehicles.
