I wish they wouldn’t do that – Freddie Blay on death hoax

Freddie Blay, former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), condemned false reports about his death. He called it a “very costly prank.”

Blay spoke on Hot Talk on GHOne TV, as reported by MyNewsGH. He confirmed he knows who spread the fake news.

“This isn’t the first time,” he said. “Some years ago, similar rumors circulated. It’s unfortunate and just a prank.”

He believes the motive is to gain online attention. “They want more viewers for their blogs,” he explained.

Blay is considering legal action but feels uncertain about it. “What’s the purpose?” he asked. “You see me live; I’m here.”

He added that such pranks can cause unnecessary fear and stress. “I wish they wouldn’t do that again, but who knows?”
