“I won’t listen to Wontumi” – Abronye rubbishes Wontumi’s cease-fire plea

Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye DC, is the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP. He has dismissed Chairman Wontumi's call for peace with Kennedy Agyapong.

Abronye DC stated he will not heed Wontumi's advice. He accused Agyapong’s team of insulting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s 2024 presidential candidate, without apologizing.

In an interview on Wontumi TV, Abronye said, “You suggested monitoring social media comments. One station has attacked Bawumia since January.”

He questioned how one person can silence everyone in the party. Abronye added that if provocation stops, so will the attacks.

Chairman Wontumi had previously called for a cease-fire between Agyapong and Abronye DC. He urged both men to forgive each other to restore peace.

Wontumi emphasized that elder siblings are sometimes wrong but should be forgiven. He expressed his desire for unity among party members despite their disagreements.
