Rev. Ntim Fordjour is the Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Ministry. He stated that if he wanted popularity, he would release a gospel hit song.
His comments follow social media attacks after his drug trafficking allegations in Ghana. These allegations faced strict scrutiny.
Fordjour emphasized that he was fulfilling his duty as a member of Parliament. He said, “If I wanted to be popular, I would have released the biggest gospel hit.”
He added that it’s a Minority decision to ensure national safety. He shared these thoughts during an interview with Channel One Television.
