IGP, CDS reaffirm commitment to addressing Bawku conflict

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, welcomed Major General William Agyapong.

Major General Agyapong is the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS). This was his first visit to the National Police Headquarters.

The visit took place on Monday, April 14, 2025. It included a Guard of Honour parade in his honour.

After the parade, the IGP and CDS held a meeting. They discussed improving collaboration between security agencies.

They aim to address national security challenges, including issues in Bawku.
