IGP orders investigation into alleged misuse of Ayanfuri Mineral Royalties

The Inspector-General of Police has directed the Central North Regional Police Command at Assin Fosu to investigate alleged mismanagement of Ayanfuri Stool mineral royalties.

The Ayanfurihene, Odeneho Kwasi Peprah II, raised concerns over the unpaid 25% royalty share due to the Ayanfuri Stool, reportedly collected by the Administrator of Stool Lands.

He alleged that officials from the Central Regional House of Chiefs and the Administrator of Stool Lands conspired to submit a false name as the Ayanfuri chief to divert funds.

Further requests for a statement of accounts from Perseus Mining royalties have gone unanswered, prompting the call for transparency and justice in this case.
