IGP receives CDS at police headquarters with a guard of honour

On April 14, 2025, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno, accompanied by the Police Management Board (POMAB), held a Guard of Honour at the National Police Headquarters to welcome Major General William Agyapong, the newly appointed Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS).

This ceremony marked Major General Agyapong’s first visit to the Police Headquarters in his new role.

Following the parade, the two leaders met to discuss the importance of enhancing inter-agency cooperation in addressing the nation’s security challenges, including the ongoing situation in Bawku.

The meeting underscored the security services’ commitment to safeguarding the country.
