ISRQ2025: Dansoman Cluster B settles score with Theorose School, storms into semifinals

Dansoman Cluster of Schools has achieved a significant victory. They knocked out their rivals, Theorose School, in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Inter-School Reading Quiz (ISRQ). This win secures Dansoman a place in the semifinals.

The match was intense and ended with Dansoman scoring 64 points. Theorose School finished with 56.5 points. This contest was a rematch from last year’s quarterfinal, where Theorose had won.

For Dansoman, this quiz was about redemption. Their team included Reginald Lamptey, Lawrence Andoh, and Nancy Avortrie. They entered the contest with a clear strategy and focus.

The competition was fierce right from the start. Round 1 ended in a tie at 24–24. In Round 2, Dansoman pulled ahead with 25 points against Theorose's 21.

In the final round, Dansoman secured their lead decisively. They finished strong with a total of 64 points while Theorose managed only 56.5 points.

With this victory, Dansoman Cluster becomes the first semifinalist of ISRQ2025. They have also ended the defending champions' hopes for another title.

This win is not just personal; it’s also significant for public schools competing against elite institutions.

The ISRQ2025 will continue with more quarterfinal matches as schools compete for a spot in the grand finale.
