Ibrahim Sulemana scores as Atalanta beat Genoa

Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana scored for Atalanta in their Serie A win over Genoa on Saturday evening.

This was Sulemana's second start of the season. He had previously scored to secure UEFA Champions League football.

The 21-year-old played in a midfield quartet with Matteo Ruggeri, Marco Brescianni, and Marco Palestra.

Genoa took the lead first through Andrea Pinamonti. They went into halftime ahead.

Sulemana equalized just two minutes into the second half. This was his second goal of the campaign.

Pinamonti scored again, restoring Genoa's lead. However, Daniel Maldini and Mateo Retegui helped Atalanta win 3-2.

With this goal against Genoa, Sulemana has now scored in back-to-back games.
