If I were Mahama, I would ignore ‘noisemaker’ Ntim Fordjour – Kwakye Ofosu

The Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has dismissed allegations from Assin South MP Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. Fordjour claimed a “suspicious aircraft” landed at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Senshow, Kwakye Ofosu called the claims baseless. He said they are a waste of time.

“If I were President Mahama, I would ignore Ntim Fordjour,” he stated. He respects Fordjour as a friend but criticized his lack of evidence.

Rev. Ntim Fordjour alleged that two flights landed in Ghana between March 20 and March 25, 2025. He claimed these flights carried suspected cocaine and cash. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called for investigations into these claims.

However, Kwakye Ofosu argued that if the NPP had proof, they would have shared it publicly. “If he had evidence, NPP people would have shown videos and pictures,” he said.

He also mentioned that the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) invited Rev. Ntim Fordjour for questioning. However, the MP refused to attend, claiming he was representing a parliamentary committee.

Kwakye Ofosu added that the NIB has now written to the Speaker of Parliament for permission to investigate him further. “When he goes, he should go and waste their time like he is doing to us now,” he remarked.

He emphasized that MPs cannot make unsubstantiated allegations without facing scrutiny. “You cannot just wake up and throw out accusations without evidence,” he insisted.
