If you think any of our members have done any wrong, take them to court —Kodua dares gov’t

Justin Kodua is the General Secretary of Ghana's largest opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He has challenged the government to take legal action against appointees of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Kodua claims these appointees have caused financial loss to the state. He believes that intimidation and persecution show a lack of evidence for prosecution.

He urged the government to present their evidence in court instead of making arrests.

Kodua made these comments after Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, was released from EOCO on June 2, 2025.

He stated, “If they know they have a case, they should take our people to court.” He added that this would allow them to defend themselves legally. If there are allegations against Wontumi, he said, “take him to court.”
