Illegal structures at Sakumono Ramsar site demolished in Easter Monday operation

A taskforce from TDC Ghana, with help from a National Security team, acted on Monday morning. They went to the Sakumono Ramsar site and demolished illegal structures.

Courage Nunekpeku, Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd, spoke to the press. He said the demolition was part of efforts to reclaim state lands. It also aims to protect Ramsar sites from further encroachment.
