Forty Imams, scholars, students, and preachers from Kpone-Katamanso Metropolis attended a workshop. This two-day event focused on Shariah Intelligence. The goal was to improve their understanding of Islamic jurisprudence. They aimed to address modern socioeconomic challenges.
Shariah Intelligence involves understanding the Holy Qur’an and Hadiths. It also includes consensus among scholars and reasoning for rulings. The workshop was organized by S.A.I.D Academy and the Kpone Katamanso Metropolitan Chief Imam's office. It took place at “Switzerland” in the metropolis.
The aim was to empower Islamic scholars and Imams. They learned to respect diverse opinions on various issues. Imam Sa-id Mukhtar Abubakar spoke about the workshop last Saturday. He is the Executive Director of S.A.I.D Academy.
He mentioned that this workshop is the first in a series. The Academy and its partners plan to equip Imams with essential tools. These tools will help them address controversial issues affecting health, education, and society. Some challenges cannot be directly found in the Qur’an or Hadiths.
