Rev. Ntim Fordjour, the Assin South MP, criticized Sammy Gyamfi. Gyamfi is the acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board. His criticism follows a viral video showing Gyamfi gifting dollars to Nana Agradaa.
Fordjour expressed his concerns on X. He noted that in just 120 days, the NDC is sharing dollars publicly. He accused them of being arrogant and opulent while hiding "cocaine dollars" under their beds. He claimed these individuals have never worked in any company.
He also pointed out that they flaunt expensive phones and tablets. According to him, these items could build classrooms in their constituency. Fordjour mentioned that some officials are driving $450,000 Range Rover Autobiographies within 120 days of taking office.
He criticized the weak Code of Conduct that allows such behavior. Meanwhile, many NDC supporters struggle with rising living costs and power outages. Fordjour urged them to demand accountability from their leaders.
In the viral video, Gyamfi was seen next to his white Range Rover with Agradaa. After a brief chat, he sat in his car and counted several US dollar notes. Agradaa insisted he give her all the money instead of just some.
She took all the cash from him and showed it off to bystanders, saying she received dollars from Gyamfi. In response, Sammy Gyamfi apologized for his actions. He explained that giving money to those in need is part of his daily routine.
