Today, January 7, 2025, marked a historic moment as John Dramani Mahama was inaugurated at Independence Square as Ghana’s president, making history as the first leader in the Fourth Republic to return to power after losing reelection.

The event drew an impressive lineup of dignitaries, including Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, and former South African President Jacob Zuma, reflecting strong international support for Ghana’s democracy.
