The Bhojpuri Association of Ghana celebrated this year’s Ramnavami festival in Accra.
Ramnavami is a Hindu festival. It occurs on the 9th day of Chaitra month. This festival marks the divine birth of Lord Rama. He is a central figure in Hindu tradition and symbolizes righteousness and virtue.
Members from both Indian and Ghanaian communities participated in a grand Shobha Yatra. This traditional procession showcased the rich cultural heritage of the participants.
The event took place last Sunday. It featured a grand procession, cultural performances, and a fashion show. The celebration concluded with the distribution of Prasadam, holy food offered in silver bowls.
