Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam forecasts Ghana’s inflation rate will drop to 15% by the end of 2024.
At a town hall in Accra, he highlighted the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration’s success in managing inflation, noting significant reductions since 2017.
He compared this to higher rates under the previous administration, with inflation peaking at 54% in 2022 due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
Currently, inflation is at 22%.
Dr. Amin aims for single-digit inflation next year, contingent on the NPP's continued governance.
