Interior Minister opens Borteyman police station to boost community security

The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, inaugurated the Borteyman Police Station on Wednesday. This new station is located in the Greater Accra Region. It marks a significant step toward improving security and law enforcement.

The Minister called this project a milestone for protecting lives and property. He thanked the Ghana Police Service, Borteyman residents, and all stakeholders involved. Their collaboration made this initiative possible.

The new facility will serve as a hub for police operations. It will also be a center for community engagement. The Minister stated that officers can respond quickly to security challenges.

He encouraged residents to support the police by sharing information. This will help create a culture of peace and safety in the area. Officers at Borteyman were urged to maintain high professionalism standards.

They should show dedication, respect, and openness in their service. Tema Regional Police Commander DCOP Barnabas Nasumong echoed this message. He assured residents that the station would operate with integrity and commitment.

The opening ceremony included several dignitaries. Attendees included the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior and senior police officials. Members of the Borteyman community were also present at the event.
