Interior Minister Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak has called on Muslims, especially the youth, to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with modesty and respect for national peace.
He reminded them that Eid should reflect the values of Ramadan, urging them not to undermine the sacrifices of fasting through reckless celebrations.
Mubarak also emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence, urging communities in conflict to embrace unity. Delivering his Eid message, he advised Muslims to be mindful of their non-Muslim neighbors and avoid disturbances.
Additionally, he encouraged the Muslim community to support and pray for President John Dramani Mahama’s administration as it strives to fulfill national commitments.
