Ghana’s Parliament has appointed Isaac Adongo as the new Chair of the Finance Committee, leveraging his extensive experience in economic affairs and his role on the Bank of Ghana Board.
His vice chair is Richard Acheampong, while former Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Antah serves as the ranking member, with Gideon Boako as his deputy.
Their mandate includes overseeing government financial policies to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Additionally, Kwaku Agyemang Kwarteng has been named Chair of the Budget Committee, while Abena Osei-Asare takes over as Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), replacing former Ketu North MP James Avedzi.
