It is a wicked lie to accuse me of selling STC lands – Nana Akomea

Nana Akomea, the former Managing Director of STC, denied selling STC lands. He called such allegations a “wicked lie.”

In an interview with Peace FM on May 27, he stated he would never engage in such actions.

He criticized the current Deputy Managing Director for spreading “unimaginable and reckless falsehoods.”

Mr. Akomea claimed that land sales happened before his appointment. These sales occurred under the previous NDC administration.

He provided examples of sold lands. Four acres at the STC Head Office went to BCM. Another four acres in Takoradi were sold to Melcom. The official MD’s bungalow at Roman Ridge was sold to Caitec.

Under his leadership, STC partnered with investors to develop idle lands. They used rental agreements that benefited the company financially.

He questioned if this approach was better than outright land sales by previous administrations under the NDC.
