Jaman South Municipal Assembly confirms President’s nominee  

All 57 members of the Jaman South Municipal Assembly have endorsed Siata Watara. She is the President’s nominee for Municipal Chief Executive.

The Assembly Members gave her strong support. She received 55 ‘yes’ votes in an election supervised by the Electoral Commission. This took place in Drobo, the municipal capital.

In her acceptance speech, Madam Watara expressed her commitment to sustainable development. She promised to work with all stakeholders to achieve her vision. Her goals include creating more jobs and improving socio-economic conditions.

She emphasized the importance of security, education, and agriculture. Additionally, she pledged to promote transparency and accountability. Madam Watara also supports gender equality and inclusivity in decision-making processes.
