Presidential Adviser Joyce Bawah Mogtari has strongly refuted allegations by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) that she illegally acquired a vehicle for personal use.
In an Instagram post on February 24, 2025, she described the claims as “baseless and unjustified,” accusing the NPP of resorting to desperate tactics after losing the elections.
She insisted that her vehicle acquisition was lawful and in full compliance with regulations. Addressing concerns over valuation, she clarified that the State Transport Corporation (STC) is responsible for pricing vehicles, not individuals.
Mogtari warned that she will no longer tolerate false accusations and will take legal action against those spreading misinformation.
She concluded by asserting that the NPP’s alleged incompetence led to their electoral defeat.
