Julius Debrah is NDC’s no.1 financier but is very humble unlike Ken Agyapong – Abronye

Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye DC, is the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP. He claims that Julius Debrah is the main financier of the NDC. Unlike Kennedy Agyapong, he says Debrah is humble.

Abronye noted that Debrah does not publicize his donations. His comments followed Agyapong's recent donation of 1 million cedis to the NPP. This money was meant to pay workers' arrears.

Kennedy Agyapong explained his donation on Wontumi TV. He said all parties face financial challenges when in opposition. He mentioned hearing about unpaid salaries for four months and wanted to help.

Abronye stated that Julius Debrah and Stephen Opuni are key NDC financiers. He claimed Mahama would credit Debrah for his presidency if asked. Abronye emphasized that Debrah does not seek publicity for his contributions.

He also mentioned Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s quiet donation of 2.1 million cedis to the NPP earlier this year. According to Abronye, Bawumia did not call media attention to it.

In contrast, he criticized Agyapong for seeking publicity with his donation. Abronye accused him of being ungrateful and unpatriotic for doing so. He questioned why Agyapong did not mention past payments from ECG after elections.
