June 4 Commemoration: Let's build bridges across our differences - Deputy Interior Minister

Deputy Interior Minister Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi urges Ghanaians to embrace the spirit of June 4. He emphasizes the importance of holding government officials accountable.

"Today, let's recommit to the ideals that fueled the revolution," he said. He envisions a Ghana where every citizen can participate in democracy. He wants rights upheld and unity and justice to prevail.

Terlabi calls on government officials to work selflessly for a brighter future. Speaking at the June 4 commemoration in Odumase-Krobo, he highlighted the need for leadership inspired by the June 4 Uprising.

"We need a Ghana with opportunities for all, not just a few," he stated. Hard work and dedication should be rewarded, he added.

He stressed that Ghanaians must unite for peace in the country. "As we honor June 4's legacy, let’s build bridges across our differences," he urged. Dialogue and understanding are essential for liberty and justice to flourish.

Many NDC party members attended the event in Odumase-Krobo. They commemorated the 46th anniversary of the June 4 uprising. Family, friends, and supporters of Jerry John Rawlings also joined them to celebrate his legacy.
