KATH CEO Prof Addai-Mensah relieved of his duties

Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah has been removed as CEO of KATH.

This decision followed a meeting with Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh on May 2, 2025.

Sources say the meeting was friendly. The Minister praised Prof. Addai-Mensah for his contributions to the hospital and health sector.

Prof. Addai-Mensah must complete his activities and hand over to a new CEO. The identity of the new CEO has not been revealed yet.

He congratulated his successor in advance. He urged hospital management and staff to support the new leader for quality healthcare delivery.

Prof. Addai-Mensah became CEO of KATH in November 2022. He had two years left on his contract when he was removed.
