KNUST appoints Kwasi Debrah as Digital Communications Officer

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has appointed Emmanuel Kwasi Debrah as Assistant Registrar in charge of the Digital Communications section of the University Relations Office.

A seasoned multimedia journalist and documentary filmmaker, Mr. Debrah brings extensive experience in science, technology, health, art, entertainment, business, and research reporting.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, a Master of Public Health in Health Education and Promotion, and has completed certifications in Mobile Journalism.

Starting his career as a medical laboratory scientist, he has worked with notable media houses like Moonlite FM and Multimedia Group Limited, where he rose to the position of senior multimedia journalist.

Mr. Debrah has won multiple awards, including Best Science Reporter and Best ICT/Telecoms Reporter at various media conferences. He is also an inventor, poet, singer-songwriter, and founding faculty member of the KNUST Health Journalism program.
