Koforidua Technical University (KTU) has rusticated several students for exam malpractices, reinforcing its “zero tolerance” policy to uphold academic integrity.
Addressing the 21st Congregation Ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. John Owusu emphasized the need to combat indiscipline, urging graduands to embrace honesty and hard work to thrive in competitive environments.
The ceremony saw 1,332 HND students graduate under the theme, “The Future of Science and Technology: The Role of Stakeholders”.
Prof. Owusu highlighted a GHS 950,000 government allocation for infrastructure and faculty development while cautioning graduates against arrogance and indiscipline in workplaces.
Guest of honour Dr. George Afrane advocated for agriculture as a viable career, stressing flexibility and diligence as keys to success in a challenging job market.
The Chancellor, Dr. Kwesi Eduafo Yankey, reaffirmed the university's mission of producing innovative, impact-driven graduates.
